It seems finally the spring arrived to us and now each of us is increasingly thinking how can you please yourself. Everyone wants changes and unusual combinations)
If you adore baking experiments as much as I do, try to cook brownie with this recipe. The chocolate flavor and noble aftertaste of blue cheese and pears will conquer every chocoholics and gourmets.
Instead of wheat flour I used almond ones so if you’re following a gluten-free diet or healthy lifestyle adept, feel free to take the recipe for a note!
If you don’t have almond flour you can easily cook it yourself. To do this, take 100 g of almonds, blanch, peel and dry in a preheated to 120°C oven for 10-15 minutes. Then combine almonds (chilled & peeled) with 50 g of sugar (from the total weight in the recipe) and ground it with a blender.
Choose the highest quality chocolate and butter to get the great fudgy structure of brownies.
The recipe shows the approximate baking time, the exact time depends on the power of your oven. The center of the brownie should be slightly moist from above, don’t over-bake it please!
I used the Italian gorgonzola but you can also choose another blue cheese, although it will be the best to use the most flavoured kinds of it.
Cooled brownies can be cut with a hot knife and let it chill at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Keep brownies in a sealed container refrigerated.
